The five day RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) Chelsea Flower show is back, however this year the event has had a little revamp making it the biggest show yet.

From Tuesday 22nd until Saturday 26 May the flower show can be found within the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, located on Royal Hospital road.

Along with a new layout and the return of the famous Artisan Gardens the space has unveiled a brand new Grow Garden landscape. Focused around the theme of health and well being the area offers a garden of relaxation and inspiration, which can be easily reconstructed for your own garden.

Another key change to the schedule is that on Friday 25th May the Ranelagh Gardens will remain open until the evening to host a evening full of f live entertainment and much more.

Attendees of the Chelsea Flower Show can experience a day of vibrant displays showcasing innovative gardens and colourful flowering beds, showing a large range of dissimilar plants. And amongst this years visitors the show has already played host to the Queen and several royal family members.

“This is the first year I have ever attended the show. It was amazing to just take in all the different colours, smells and sounds and to simply appreciate the natural beauty which was around me,” says Jodie Williams, fashion junior account manager for Task Pr.

Dating back to 1862, the event was previously recognised as the RHS Great Spring Show. On average, every year 157,000 people travel to South West London to attend the flower show, with the majority paying for tickets in advance. Open to the general public, ticket prices vary between £35 to £105. However due to the high demand people can only buy four tickets at one time.
